The Main 404 section is used on the “404 Error” page of the Shopify theme.
It displays an illustration, a heading, a short explanatory message, and a button that guides users back to the homepage or any other desired URL.
This section ensures a consistent visual design for pages not found.
Section Settings #
Color scheme #
Applies your chosen theme color scheme to section backgrounds and text.
Section width #
- Page – uses the default container width.
- Full – stretches the section to full browser width.
Image #
- Optional image field to upload or select an icon, graphic, or illustration for the 404 page.
- If left empty, the section may use a default icon or remain blank.
Top padding #
Adds spacing above the section to adjust layout spacing.
Bottom padding #
Adds spacing below the section for layout balance.
