The Main Search section powers the product search results page in your Shopify theme.
It displays relevant products based on customer search queries, along with filtering, sorting, and pagination options.
This section is fully responsive and designed to provide a smooth, intuitive shopping experience for customers searching across all products and collections.
Section Settings #
Color scheme #
Choose the visual theme for the search results page.
Example: Scheme 1, Light, or Dark.
Section width #
Defines how wide the content spans within the page layout.
- Page: Constrained within page container.
- Full: Spans the entire screen width.
Product per page #
Controls the total number of products displayed on each page.
Desktop product per page #
Number of products shown per row on desktop devices.
Mobile product per page #
Number of products shown per row on mobile devices.
Filter type #
Determines how filters appear and function on the page.
- Drawer: Filters slide out from the side.
- Inline: Filters are visible above the product grid.
Top padding #
Adds space above the search results section (in pixels).
Bottom padding #
Adds space below the search results section (in pixels).
